DECORATIVE KNIVES : KNIVES SUITED FOR THE NORWEGIAN NATIONAL COSTUMES

Knives for a national costume, decorative knives, gifts, and knives for those who collect.

The knives in this category are primarily those that I have designed for the Norwegian national costume.  Up until now I have made knives for the areas in the east of Norway. I have also made them for areas such as, Hallingdal, Hordeland, Sunnmøre, Lofoten, Telemark and Rogaland (For those of you that are interested, this covers a large part of Norway.. Time to get out the Atlas maybe?)
Most of the knives shown are demonstration knives and are not for sale.  They are made by special order and arrangement only.  Sometimes there are 2 knives made at the same time when i receive an order.  The second one is put out for sale.

SUNNMØRE UPPER CUP

This picture shows the finisheing details of the main picture. The Garnet stone is real due to the fact that these stones are actually found in the mountain of the Sunnmøre region.
The silver associated with the National Dress of the area has peony (a fake version of the garnet stone) in the middle. All precious stones should be real in my opinion.
