This is a demonstration knife that is also made by special order, and is priced at between 800 and 1200 NOK.  A small knife that will fit into a jacket pocket, or that will lay still on the workbench.  It is small and compact and is great for the all round hobby enthusiast.  It is also a great knife for children who are learning how to use a knife properly.

Take it with you wherever you may go, it will fit into a wash kit, and is great to have at a BBQ party.
This is the most important piece of equipment in spring (when you collect the first Birch twigs) and great in autumn when it is time to collect mushrooms.

FLY FISHERMANS KNIFE

It is a knife for the enthusiast. A serious (and not to mention hooked fisherman), will clean the fish whilst standing in the river.  He will open the stomach to assess what the diet of his prey was, before carefully selecting the appropriate fly for his next cast.

It is therefore great to have a razor sharp knife between your teeth and a sheath fixed to you kit back by a button.  The shaft material is especially chosen, but you can personalize it should you wish. Please contact me so that this can e discussed.  Most things are possible, but not all things!

THE OBO KNIFE

The musicians who play on the obo and bassoon makes the sound on the instrument with a small tube made of a splinter of bamboo.  These can be bough ready to use but are often made by the musicians themselves.  The bamboo shoot is split, planned whittled and scraped into the correct shape.  Finishing requires a very sharp blade that will not make marks in the tube, as this will affect the sound that is given out.

This knife I made after discussions with a Norwegian musician and a Swedish music teacher.

Rough and tough whittling knife/ small skinner
Shaft: Made form Stabilized elm burl.  Scales are mounted each side of a full tang and are fixed with bolts of german silver.
Blade: Full tang 3 layer laminated blade with extra sharp carbon steel.

This is a knife that is really designed for difficult wood carving and whittling. It has a total length of 120mm ( 5 ").  It fills the hand, and can also be used as a small skinning knife.

Blade hand forged 3 layer laminated.

A small whittling knife with a total length of 120mm (5").  It fills the hand and is used for detailed wood carving/whittling.  The sheath is made for the left-hander, but is equipped with a D ring and Carabineer clip for other variations in the way it is worn.
